Mathew Dickerson signs on as facilitator of Big Ideas for Regional NSW.

WRI is delighted to announce that Mathew Dickerson, former Mayor of Dubbo, has agreed to join Big Ideas for Regional NSW as our facilitator!

Having both served as Mayor and being a self-made, award winning businessman Mathew is the ideal combination of big picture policy thinker and start-up magic maker.

"I'm delighted to be facilitating Big Ideas for Regional NSW and I am looking forward to drawing out the creativity and innovative thinking from attendees. This is a great opportunity to make connections among our brightest thinkers, all for the good of regional NSW", said Mathew

As a fourth generation local of regional NSW he is acutely aware of the opportunities and challenges our regional communities face.

"Regional NSW faces many challenges, especially at the moment, but there are also a lot of untapped opportunities waiting to be discovered. Sometimes it only takes one idea and the backing of research by an organisation like WRI to make a huge difference for our regional communities and economies."

Mathew's quick thinking, collaborative style will have the ideas flowing through the room and make for a truly engaging regional brainstorming session!
