Kathy Woolley live on 2BS 95.1FM in July
On Tuesday 2nd July the Western Research Institutes (WRI) CEO Kathy Woolley gave the second monthly interview on 2BS radio 95.1FM with Sarah Boorer during the Talk of Town segment at 4:20pm.
Kathy began the interview by comparing what we are working on now and how that compares over the last 20 years, we have done around 500 projects over that time. Everything from pigs to poultry, pools to population, Mount Panorama, analysing waste to energy plants - all sorts of different analysis. Recently we have been working on the impact of Clandestine Drug Laboratories and how devastating they can be on people's properties and the expansion of art galleries in the region. We continue to work closely with local councils analysing impacts of projects they are making grant applications for.
Our Big Ideas for Regional NSW event is fast approaching – it will be held on 26 September at CSU Bathurst Engineering Building. Registrations are now open. This is a workshop for the collection of ideas on future direction for regional NSW.
We’ll be celebrating out 20 years of business with a party in the evening after the workshop - as Kathy said everyone has to sing for their supper.
The CEO’s next live interview is on Tuesday 6th August at 4:20pm (est). Tune in at https://www.2bs.com.au/about-2bs/ to listen live or go to 2BS 95.1FM.
