Kathy Woolley, CEO to speak at 2019 SEGRA Conference in August
Sustainable Economic Growth for Regional Australia (SEGRA) is holding a conference at Barooga in NSW on the 20th-22nd August called Rivers of Opportunity: Activating your potential.
The Western Research Institute's (WRI) CEO, Kathy Woolley is pleased to be presenting in the Concurrent Session 9 - Best Practice Sustainability.
Juliet Duffy, Chair of WRI who is also the Director of Regional Enviroscience, reached out to WRI to produce a report on the clandestine drug laboratories earlier this year. This report produced some shocking statistics on the impact that these labs have, not only for the environment but for our health and our communities.
Kathy is presenting at the conference about clandestine labs, titled: Not in our Backyard. Kathy will be discussing how clandestine laboratories have an impact on health, the environment and regional communities. Juliet and Kathy hope to create some awareness of this issue and encourage the continuous development in our regions for our future.
Managing Director of Constructive Energy and a Bathurst local who is well known within the community and regional NSW, Ashley Bland will be facilitating and presenting in Concurrent Session 9 - Best Practice Sustainability on the Wednesday afternoon after Kathy Woolley.
